Artist’s Background
My journey in jewellery began in the late 1980s, with my very first stall at the Trip to Tipp festival.
Since then, my passion for craftsmanship has taken me from Grennan Mill in Kilkenny to Galway, where I studied sculpture and honed my skills. In 1992, I co-founded SilverLines Jewellery with Daniela Marschel, a talented German silversmith. Together, we grew our business from the Galway market to shops and galleries across Ireland, the UK, Germany, and the US.

FAQs
What is your shipping policy?
We aim to send your items out within 3 working days.
Made to order items will take up to 4 weeks which also allows time for the pieces to be sent for hallmarking.
If you need an item for a specific date, please do get in touch prior to placing your order to ensure we can deliver on time.
All Republic of Ireland, UK and European orders are insured and sent free of charge by An Post Express post, 1-2 days for Ireland Rep and 3-5 days for the UK and Europe.
USA & Canada, €20. Shipping will take 6-10 days except during the Christmas period, when freight time is not guaranteed.
All Deliveries will require a signature please ensure someone will be around to receive your order.
*In the event that nobody is available to receive your item, a card should be left with details for you to collect the parcel from your local collection Post Office Depot.
The tracking number will be supplied via email once order has been posted.
Are there import duties on orders?
For International and UK deliveries, import duties, sales taxes or any other import costs, incurred at the point of entry into the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.
Do you offer refunds?
If you change your mind and want to return an item, then you must advise us in writing within 14 days of receipt. If 14 days have passed since receipt of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You must return the goods within 14 days of advising us in writing.
For health and safety reasons, to be eligible for return earrings must be unopened and the seal unbroken.
You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Please ensure you use a fully tracked and insured service.

Bespoke Commissioned Orders
For bespoke orders (including items made to your bespoke size) these are non-refundable and non-returnable as they have been made to your own personal specification.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return has been approved, received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving the goods back. A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received the approved refund after 7 working days, please check with your bank or credit card company as there is often processing time before a refund is posted.

Will my item be hallmarked?
All of our work will be hallmarked by the Assay office in Dublin Castle where it is independently tested then struck with the Irish hallmark. These four small marks guarantee you the provenance of who made the piece, where it was hallmarked, the quality of the silver and the year it was made.
The first mark is the maker’s mark, The second is the Hibernian symbol, the symbol of the Irish Assay office. The next is the number 925 guaranteeing you it is made of 92.5% silver (the rest being copper which improves the working qualities of the silver).
The last mark is the date letter signifying the year the piece is made. For 2025 it is the letter O.

Do you offer custom sizing options?
Many of our rings can be made to order to your size. The most accurate way to establish your ring size is to purchase our ring sizer before you place your order. Alternatively drop into a Jeweller Shop to get your finger measured correctly.
It is advisable to go up one size for a ring wider than 5mm. For advice, please contact us.
Bangle/ Cuff sizing
Our bangles/ Cuffs come in three sizes, Small, Medium and Large. The inside circumference of these is as follows.
Small: 19.0cm
Medium: 20.5cm
Large: 22.5cm
The most accurate way to establish the right size for you is to measure the widest part of your hand with a tape measure. You should squeeze your hand as though you are putting a bangle on. This measurement will give you an indication of which size would best fit you. Don’t hesitate to contact us for bespoke sizes or advice.
